Pep Guardiola wins UEFA Men's Coach of the Year

Pep Guardiola awarded UEFA Men’s Coach of the Year

Pep Guardiola has been honoured with the UEFA Men’s Coach of the Year Award following City’s most successful season. The announcement came after Manchester City discovered their Champions League Group.

Guardiola led the Blues to a historic Treble to prove once again, that he is the best of the best.

He was on a three-man shortlist of the award and it could not have gone to anyone else.

Not only was this a history making season for the Treble. But he coached City to their third consecutive Premier League title, and our very first Champions League.

He was joined on the shortlist by Simone Inzaghi after his sides journey to the Champions League final. Luciano Spalletti also featured on the list for securing the Serie A for Napoli.

Guardiola loves breaking records and this has rubbed off on the Blues. Following the win in Istanbul, he became the first manager in the men’s game to win the Treble with two different teams.

An incredible coach, whom we are lucky to have. “Cause we’ve got, Guardiola”.
