Esteemed Kompany host Steven Mcinerney reviews Manchester City’s 3-1 win over FC Copenhagen in the video below. City’s win at the Parken Stadium saw them take control of their Champions League Round of 16 tie with the second leg at the Etihad Stadium still to come.

Last night’s win by Manchester City was their 11th consecutive win in all competitions. City’s win featured a dynamic performance from star duo Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne. The pair tormented FC Copenhagen for the duration of the match. Both scored and picked up an assist on the night. City’s star pair showed that their combination is growing and will be a decisive factor in the European champion’s chase for history.

While Pep Guardiola’s side were at their best in Denmark the win did come at a cost. There were injuries suffered on the night by Jack Grealish and Bernardo Silva. Speaking post-game Pep Guardiola was unsure of the severity of the injuries suffered by the pair. Grealish and Bernardo join Mateo Kovacic and Josko Gvardiol on the injury list for the world champions. City will be holding for good news on the injury front especially with the visit of Chelsea to the Etihad Stadium this weekend.

Steven Mcinerney takes a look at all of this and more in the video below. It was an emphatic performance by the treble winners as they continued their winning ways against FC Copenhagen.
