As the transfer window heats up, the rumour mill is more rollercoaster like. Following reports earlier in the week that City had offered Walker a contract extension, he could now be set to leave.
Reports today suggest that Walker has given Bayern the “green light” for a move.
However, before the clubs begin any business, it seems there could be a swap on the table.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano claimed earlier that City are keen on Bayern’s Pavard.

Pavard is a French defender. Predominantly utilised as a right-back, he can play centre-back too. Versatile which is typical Guardiola.
The French international joined Bayern Munich in 2019 from Stuttgart for a fee of around £35m. At 27-years-old, Benjamin Pavard has an impressive silverware collection.
Following his debut season for Bayern he lifted the Champions League trophy, and has won four consecutive Bundesliga titles.
With Manchester City potentially losing multiple experienced players this summer, Pavard could be a good addition to Pep’s squad.
