City player ratings

James Trafford-6/10: A quiet night in goal for James Trafford. Barely had anything to do all night.

Matheus Nunes-7/10: A nice performance from Nunes. Did his work with minimal fuss and offered plenty in possession.

John Stones-7/10: A professional defensive performance from John Stones.

Nathan Ake-7/10: Like John Stones, went about his work in a professional manner.

Nico O’Reilly-7/10: Had some nice touches when City had possession in a good showing from O’Reilly.

Rico Lewis-6.5/10: Played in midfield but spent the night on the periphery of the match.

Nico- 8/10: I thought Nico played well. Timed his challenges well and went about his work well.

Oscar Bobb-7/10: Some nice touches and was a constant threat on the right wing.

Divine Mukasa-7/10: Grabbed an assist and displayed flashes of his prodigious talent. Didn’t get on tne ball as much he’d have liked but did a job playing predominantly up front.

Phil Foden-9/10: Grabbed a goal and an assist before he was taken off. Foden was a class above on the pitch as he continued his recent impressive form.

Savinho-8/10: I thought Savinho was frustrating in thefirst halff but was Manchester City’s most dangerous attacking player in thesecond halff. Grabbed a goal which should do his confidence the world of good.
