The starting lineups are in ahead of Manchester City’s clash with Arsenal

Manchester City and Arsenal have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of today’s critical Premier League fixture at the Emirates Stadium. Both teams will be desperate for three points for different reasons today. City are bidding to solidify their place in the top-four. Arsenal are looking to keep within striking distance of Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table. Given the animosity that was obvious between the two teams in their 2-all draw in September at the Etihad today’s match could be a fascinating affair.

For Manchester City, they enter today’s match with four players unavailable due to injury. Rodri, Ruben Dias, Nathan Ake and Jeremy Doku are all out of today’s match. In good news for Pep Guardiola’s side Omar Marmoush, Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis are all available for selection. The trio were all ineligible for Manchester City’s 3-1 win over Club Brugge in the Champions League. Pep Guardiola’s squad does appear to be stronger for today’s match with their inclusion.

Here are the starting lineups for what promises to be another entertaining affair between Manchester City and Arsenal.

Manchester City

Pep Guardiola has made three changes to the team that beat Club Brugge. In comes Stefan Ortega, Omar Marmoush and Savinho. Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan drop to the bench for today’s match.

Ederson is out of today’s match in what is a blow for Manchester City.
