The starting lineups are in ahead of Manchester City’s clash with Sporting

Manchester City and Sporting Lisbon have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of tonight’s UEFA Champions League clash at the Estádio José Alvalade. Both teams come into tonight’s match with seven points from their opening three UEFA Champions League league phase matches. Tonight’s match could be a tough test for Pep Guardiola’s side based on Sporting’s impressive start to the 24/25 season.

For Manchester City, they will come into tonight’s match without five key players. Rodri, Oscar Bobb, Jack Grealish, Ruben Dias and John Stones are all unavailable due to injury. The world champions also have a host of players not yet at full fitness. But as Bernardo Silva told the media yesterday that is no excuse for Manchester City.
