Manchester City youngster Oscar Bobb is currently on the comeback trail from a fractured leg. The Norwegian international appeared set for a breakout season before injury struck. But in a new interview the young winger is determined to come back as strong as possible from the injury.
In an interview with UAE publication The National Oscar Bobb spoke about his recovery from the fractured leg he suffered on the eve of the new season. The Norwegian international explained that he is taking it day by day in his recovery from the injury. Bobb is focused on returning as strong as possible rather than as quickly as possible. He explained: “It’s been just over two months now and we knew it was a long injury so I’m just focusing on getting a bit better every day and getting back. Not as soon as possible, but as strong as possible.”
The exciting young winger further explained that he is looking as it his injury as a pause on his career rather than a setback. He added: “It was unfortunate, [but] I didn’t think of it as that bad just because I’ve seen loads of my friends get big injuries and a lot of them have come back stronger. So, I thought of it more as a pause rather than a setback.”
Manchester City suffered a blow when Oscar Bobb went down on the eve of the 24/25 season. The youngster was one of City’s best performers during their pre season tour of the United States. He also put in a sparkling display during City’s win over Manchester United in the FA Community Shield.
But Bobb appears to have the right attitude in regards to recovery. It won’t be long now before he is back on the pitch in positive news for the world champions. The young winger will have a vital role to play when does finally make his return from a fractured leg.
