Manchester City trained earlier today ahead of tomorrow night’s UEFA Champions League clash with Slovan Bratislava. Pep Guardiola’s side will be looking for their first win in the revamped league phase of the competition. They have received a boost ahead of tomorrow night’s match, with Erling Haaland training ahead of the match.
Following Manchester City’s 1-all draw with Newcastle, the major injury concern for Manchester City coming out of the game was Erling Haaland. City’s top scorer had his heel trodden on by Newcastle defender Dan Burn. The accidental clash caused City’s number 9 some obvious discomfort. Pep Guardiola told the media following the game at St. James Park that Haaland was dealing with ‘some knocks.‘ But in images shared via mancity.com and on social media City star striker appears ready to play against Slovan Bratislava.
Erling Haaland took part in Manchester City training today and showed no signs of discomfort. He looked fit and ready to play his part for the world champions tomorrow evening. Haaland was also shown playfully interacting with his teammates. All signs point to City’s top scorer being fit and ready to play tomorrow night.

Besides long term absentees Nathan Ake, Oscar Bobb and Rodri the only other injury concern for Manchester City is Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian international wasn’t pictured training earlier today. It would appear unlikely that he will feature in tomorrow’s match.
