Manchester City and Newcastle United have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of today’s Premier League clash at St. James Park. Pep Guardiola’s side will take on Eddie Howe’s men in front of a passionate crowd at St. James Park. Based on City’s previous visits to the stadium an exciting game awaits.
The world champions will enter today’s game without four key players. Nathan Ake and Oscar Bobb were already on City’s long-term injury list. Rodri and Kevin De Bruyne have joined them on City’s injury list. Pep Guardiola confirmed yesterday that Rodri is out for the rest of the season due to the right knee injury he suffered against Arsenal. The City manager was unsure when Kevin De Bruyne would return from the injury he suffered against Inter Milan.
While Manchester City are without four key players they will still field a strong lineup against Newcastle. Here are the starting lineups ahead of today’s match.
