The starting lineups are in for Manchester City’s clash with West Ham

Manchester City and West Ham have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of today’s Premier League match at the London Stadium. It promises to be an entertaining affair given the amount of attacking talent on display in both teams.

For Manchester City, they’ll be looking to make it three wins from three in the Premier League this season. They come into today’s game off of wins over Chelsea and Ipswich Town. Pep Guardiola’s side looks in good form and should be well prepared for the tricky test posed by Julen Lopetegui’s side.

There were three injury concerns for the world champions heading into today’s game. Mateo Kovacic sustained a hip injury during City’s win over Ipswich Town last weekend. Pep Guardiola confirmed yesterday that Kovacic has overcome that injury and should feature today. The City manager also had a positive update on the condition of Rodri. City’s midfield general trained this week and should be in the Manchester City squad for today’s match.

Besides Oscar Bobb, who is out with a long-term injury, Phil Foden is also out of today’s match. Pep Guardiola told the media that City are taking a cautious approach with Foden’s return from illness.

Here are the starting lineups ahead of Manchester City’s clash with West Ham at the London Stadium.

Pep Guardiola has made one change to the starting lineup that beat Ipswich Town last weekend. Jack Grealish starts with Savinho out of today’s match.

The biggest surprise was the news pre-game that Savinho is out of today’s match. Reporter Joe Bray broke the news via X. An update on the Brazilian international is expected when Pep Guardiola fronts the media before kick off.
