Today’s news of Oscar Bobb fracturing his leg come as a huge blow to Manchester City and the Norwegian international. The young winger had starred during Manchester City’s pre-season tour of the United States. He was also brilliant in Manchester City’s FA Community Shield win over Manchester United. His form was such that he looked set for a breakout season with the champions this season. It was expected that he would’ve started City’s Premier League opener at Stamford Bridge based on his performances during the pre-season.
As Jack Gaughan reported, there has been no timeframe given for Bobb’s recovery or the severity of the injury. A further update on the condition of the winger is expected when Pep Guardiola fronts the media on Friday.
