Manchester City have officially completed their first signing after they announced the signing of Brazilian international Savinho (Savio). The Brazilian international has signed a 5-year deal with the Premier League champions after joining the club from Troyes.
Savinho caught the eye last season with a stunning campaign for Girona. The young Brazilian winger was a key player for Girona during their stunning 23/24 season. He scored 11 goals and added 10 assists as Girona earned UEFA Champions League qualification for the 24/25 season after a stunning season. Savinho’s fine form for Girona saw him play his way into Manchester City’s radar. The champions have swooped to sign the Brazilian international. Savinho is another quality attacking option for Pep Guardiola to deploy up front and he will add a different dynamic to the champions’ attack.

Speaking with mancity.com Savinho was thrilled to sign with the world champions. Savinho said: “I have to thank God as well for giving me this opportunity to be here at Manchester City. I am very happy, I still can’t believe I’m here, but with time, it will sink in. What I am experiencing here, I just arrived and I turned to my representative and my stepfather and said that it would be impossible to turn down Manchester City.”
