A new report suggests that Bayern Munich are reportedly open to selling Joshua Kimmich this summer. But they may also face competition for his signature it has also been reported.

Reporter Fabrice Hawkins has reported on X that Bayern Munich are now open to selling Joshua Kimmich. Hawkins further reports that PSG are also now interested in signing the German international. Furthermore, Hawkins adds that PSG are eyeing a move for Kimmich after facing difficulties signing Joao Neves from Benfica.

The world champions may have to move quickly if they are to sign Joshua Kimmich. They will not want to be drawn into a transfer battle with PSG for his signature. That could become a costly exercise given Manchester City and PSG’s considerable financial wealth.

Kimmich ticks nearly every box required of a player to support Rodri. During his time with Bayern Munich and Germany, he has shown just how good a player he is. The quality he possesses appears to quite easily make him a player who could slot into Pep Guardiola’s squad. But he could also slot into PSG’s squad. If the champions do intend to sign Kimmich they must act quickly before Kimmich’s head could be turned by PSG’s reported interest.
