They further report that the German international wants to be reunited with former manager Pep Guardiola. Furthermore, Pratt and Meade report that Kimmich only has 12 months remaining on his current deal with Bayern Munich. They add that Kimmich may potentially be available to buy for £30 million this summer. Finally, Pratt and Meade add that Liverpool and Arsenal are also interested in Kimmich. But they add that despite this Kimmich desires a move to Manchester City.

Kimmich can also deputise at right-back which means his versatility would be another weapon for Pep Guardiola. Given that Kimmich rose to prominence under Guardiola at Bayern Munich he would also be familiar with the demands of the Manchester City manager. The reported fee of £30 million to sign Kimmich almost makes it a deal too good to pass up for the world champions.
