On the back of another successful season, Manchester City have continued their growth into one of the biggest clubs in world football. The Premier League champions have opened a new club store in New York which highlights the clubs standing across the globe.
Simon Bajkowski has reported for Manchester Evening News that the world champions have reported a 48% increase in online sales from the USA this season. Furthermore, Bajkowski reports that the success of Pep Guardiola’s team, the signing of Erling Haaland, plus Pep Guardiola’s appearance in the hit TV show Ted Lasso have contributed to City’s growth in the United States.

The pop-up store in New York will be open from June 1st to September 22nd as per Simon Bajkowski’s report. Pep Guardiola’s side are due to tour the United States in July as part of their pre-season preparations for the 24/25 season.

Manchester City were also named the Best Men’s Club at the Globe Soccer Awards earlier this week. The world champions took out the award off the back of their tremendous success this season. They became the first team in Premier League history to win four consecutive Premier League titles this season. They also won the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup in a superb season for Manchester City.

With the club expanding its footprint in the United States and taking out another prestigious award it shows that Manchester City are continuing to grow into one of the biggest clubs in world football. Since Sheikh Mansour brought the club in 2008 it has grown from strength to strength. They have become one of the biggest clubs in world football and are the role model for a host of clubs in Europe. The way Manchester City is run on and off the pitch is the template that City’s rivals want to replicate. That is the ultimate compliment for the world champions as a club and highlights just how much the club has grown over the past 15 years.
City’s unparalleled era of dominance of English football has seen them become one of the biggest clubs in the world game.
