City’s Croatian defender again shows his immense quality with a match winning display against Fulham

Manchester City’s Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol has once again shown his immense quality with a sublime performance in City’s 4-nil win over Fulham today. Gvardiol scored a brace and was his team’s man-of-the-match in their crucial win. Pep Guardiola’s teams win moved them to the top of the Premier League table. The result also heaps pressure on title rivals Arsenal who face Manchester United at Old Trafford tomorrow.

While Josko Gvardiol’s goals will get the headlines, his overall display against Fulham was superb. He helped steady the champions after they made a quiet start at Craven Cottage. His calmness in possession helped establish City’s dominance after the opening 10 minutes. As per Sofascore, Gvardiol completed 52/60 of his passes as his quality on the ball was a feature throughout City’s win. He was also strong at the back when required in an elite performance at left-back from the Croatian international.

The Croatian international has noe become a threat going forward and is quickly becoming another dangerous weapon in City’s arsenal.

Throughout this season, the immense quality of Josko Gvardiol has been on display. His performances have gotten better each week as he has adjusted to life at the world champions. His immense technical ability has been obvious ever since he arrived at the Etihad from RB Leipzig last summer. Now that he has added goals in recent weeks he is a valuable weapon for Pep Guardiola’s side.
