The relentless approach of the Manchester City squad is fuelling their push for yet another Premier League title. Pep Guardiola’s squad is on the hunt for a fourth consecutive Premier League title season. If City win their final three Premier League games against Fulham, Tottenham, and West Ham, they would secure yet another piece of history. They will become the first side in Premier League history to win four consecutive Premier League titles.
To be on the precipice of this historical feat speaks volumes of the elite mentality amongst the Manchester City squad. Across this season, there hasn’t appeared to be a point where Pep Guardiola’s squad has sat back and admired their achievements of a season ago. After last season’s treble success, there has been no drop in City’s high standards. There is no doubt that the world champions have appeared tired on occasions. But they have instead relied on their relentless approach and will to win to fuel their quest for history. As it stands the champions are unbeaten in 20 Premier League games which speaks volumes about the relentless approach amongst the City squad.
