What type of player is Turkish starlet Semih Kilicsoy?

Kilicsoy is a versatile player who can play across the front three. He can play either wing or as a striker, which means his versatility is an added weapon to his game. As per, he played all three roles for Besiktas so far this season. Across 31 appearances in all competitions for the Turkish giants Kiliçsoy had scored 11 goals and added 2 assists this season. It is an impressive return from such a young player beginning his career.

The pace, movement, and finishing ability in Kilicoy’s game are clear standout features of the youngsters’ game. His eye for goal is a prominent feature of his play. He scored 42 goals in 72 appearances for Besiktas’ youth sides before rising to prominence with their first team this season. Kilicsoy also has shown decent playmaking abilities during his career so far. This, coupled with his ability to play with both feet, makes him a tantalising prospect.

If Manchester City do make a move for Semih Kilicsoy, they could potentially be landing the next big thing out of Turkish football. But it does seem that a transfer battle may loom for the signature of the Turkish wonderkid.
