The starting lineups are in ahead of Manchester City’s clash with Crystal Palace

Manchester City and Crystal Palace have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of today’s match at Selhurst Park. It is a crucial Premier League game for the champions as they will be seeking another three points. A win for Pep Guardiola’s side would see them go level on points with league leaders Liverpool before they take Manchester United this weekend.

Pep Guardiola confirmed during his pre-game press conference that Nathan Ake and Kyle Walker will miss today’s game due to injury. The City manager didn’t provide a timeline on when  either player will return. There was positive news with Guardiola also informing the media that Ederson may return to the Manchester City squad today.

For Crystal Palace, they will see star winger Michael Olise return to their squad today. Palace manager Oliver Glasner confirmed during his pre-game press conference that Olise could feature for 15-20 minutes against the world champions if required.

Pep Guardiola has made four changes to the team that beat Aston Villa. In comes Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne, John Stones, and Oscar Bobb. Phil Foden, Manuel Akanji, Bernardo Silva, and Jeremy Doku all drop to the bench for today’s game.
