Jurgen Klopp’s men succeeded in creating the chaos they thrive in against Pep Guardiola’s side at Anfield. But City dug in and rode their luck late on to take home a point. As the title race plays out it could be a precious point for the champions despite not being at their best.
Manchester City could’ve taken all three points as Phil Foden and Jeremy Doku both hit the post late on as both teams went for the win. Despite not playing to their lofty standards they still created moments where they could have won the game. That fact speaks volumes of the determination in this City squad.
