As for the game itself, it has massive implications for this season’s title race. Anfield is a venue Manchester City has typically struggled at. Despite Jurgen Klopp’s side missing several key players through injury, they will be fired up for the visit of the world champions. Pep Guardiola’s side does however head to Anfield in good form. They haven’t lost in their last 20 games with 18 wins and 2 draws the sum of City’s unbeaten run. The European champions will head to Anfield full of confidence ahead of a massive game for both teams.
