Manchester City team news
Manchester City will head into Sunday’s game with several injury concerns. England international Jack Grealish will miss the match due to a groin injury. Jack Gaughan has reported for the Daily Mail that the world champions will take a cautious approach with the winger’s return from the injury he sustained against Luton Town. Gaughan adds that Manchester City have accepted that Grealish returned too early from the groin injury he suffered in City’s 3-1 win over FC Copenhagen at the Parken Stadium. Furthermore, Gaughan adds that City believes that Grealish did more damage to his groin by returning too soon.
Jeremy Doku could also miss Sunday’s game with an injury concern. The speedy winger didn’t make the City squad for last night’s win over FC Copenhagen.
