The starting lineups are in ahead of City’s clash with FC Copenhagen

Manchester City and FC Copenhagen have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first-leg match. Pep Guardiola’s side will be aiming to defend the title they won last season and the first step of the knockout stage begins at the Parken Stadium tonight. If the European champions can leave Denmark with a victory it will be their 11th consecutive win in all competitions.

Pep Guardiola’s side will be without Mateo Kovacic, Josko Gvardiol and Sergio Gomez for tonight’s clash. The trio didn’t travel to Denmark and will miss the game.

Despite this, the European champions will still have a strong squad to pick from. They will also come into the game off the back of 10 consecutive wins in all competitions after last weekend’s win over Everton. Pep Guardiola’s squad will face a fresh FC Copenhagen side full of confidence based on recent results.
