Speaking post-game the midfielder explained to the Football on TNT Sports panel that he isn’t capable yet of getting through 90 minutes. Pep Guardiola had said before the game that Kevin De Bruyne was ready to start games for the champions. He also went into detail that he had missed being on the pitch during his time out with injury.
Kevin De Bruyne helped turn the game in Manchester City’s favour with an inspired cameo. He came on with 21 minutes remaining and he led the way as City picked up a crucial victory. He scored one and set up the winner for Oscar Bobb as the treble winners picked up a crucial three points.
