Leeds United academy starlet Finlay Gorman has completed his medical with Manchester City. The young midfielder is expected to move to the world champions in January it has been reported.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Gorman has completed his medical. Furthermore, he adds that a deal has been agreed with Leeds United ahead of the move. Finlay Gorman is a part of Manchester City’s long-term recruitment strategy of snapping up elite young talent Romano adds.

Wayne Veysey of footballinsider247.com reported in November that the deal would be a British record for a 15-year-old. In addition to being a British record, Veysey also reports that the fee is expected to be in the region of £1.2 million.
The performances of Finlay Gorman in the Leeds United youth sides caught Manchester City’s attention. He also made his debut for the England under-16 side at 14 years of age.

With Finlay Gorman having completed his medical his imminent signing will be another coup for the Manchester City academy. The City academy has become a vital part of the European champions set up.
With Claudio Echeverri also linked with a move to City the champions appear set to add more elite talent to their famed youth system.
