Kevin De Bruyne back training with his Manchester City teammates

Manchester City’s inspirational midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has been seen training with his Manchester City teammates in Saudi Arabia. The European champions are currently on duty in the Gulf State for the FIFA Club World Cup. City will face Urawa Red Diamonds in the semi-final of the competition.

In a image shared via the Manchester City X account (formerly Twitter) the midfielder was shown back at first team training. He was photographed training as normal with the Manchester City first team. It is the first time since the beginning of the season that Kevin De Bruyne has been seen training with Pep Guardiola’s side. He has been out since the opening day of the season as he recovers from hamstring surgery.

Jack Gaughan of the Daily Mail also shared a brief video of De Bruyne back in training. The video was also shared on Gaughan’s X account.

It is an exciting sight for Manchester City fans and the City squad to have De Bruyne back in training. While the treble winners are in touching distance in the Premier League of leaders Arsenal they have missed their inspirational midfielder’s presence. While it isn’t expected that De Bruyne will feature in the FIFA Club World Cup his return to training means his return from injury is imminent.

Manchester City play Urawa Red Diamonds in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final on Tuesday evening.
