How have the Manchester City players performed out on loan? Following on from part 1 here’s a look at how the second group of Manchester City players have performed during their loan spells so far this season.

Joao Cancelo

The Portuguese international has made 14 appearances across all competitions for Barcelona. He’s added 2 goals and an assist for the Catalan giants. Feargal Brennan has reported for football-espana.net that Cancelo is Barcelona’s priority transfer target in 2024 as they look to make his loan deal permanent.

Tommy Doyle

The young City midfielder has made 7 appearances for Wolves primarily as a substitute during his spell with the Midlands club. With Wolves having an option to buy the youngster as reported by the BBC in their loan deal he may need to show more to make the move to Wolves permanently.

Issa Kabore

Kabore has shown he is capable of playing in the Premier League. He has featured prominently for Luton Town primarily on the right-hand side either in midfield or at right back. He has made 13 appearances in all competitions for Luton.

Slobodan Tedic

Tedic has been a bit part player for Charlton Athletic. The youngster has made 11 appearances for the London club most of them as a substitute. It has been a learning experience so far for the young Serbian attacker.

Luke Mbete

Mbete has made 8 appearances for FC Den Bosch so far this season. With his side struggling so far this campaign it has been a learning experience for Mbete as he builds his career.

Josh Wilson-Esbrand

Wilson-Esbrand has made 9 appearances so far for Reims. He’s scored once for the club during his loan spell. He started as a squad player but has forced himself into a starting role at left-back before the international break.
