How have the Manchester City players fared while out on loan? With the international break in full swing here’s a look at how the many Manchester City players have performed while out on loan so far this season.
Yan Couto
The Brazilian full-back has continued to develop this season for Girona. He has become an important part of Girona’s rise to the top of the La Liga standings. Having earned his first cap for Brazil earlier this season Couto continues to develop. He could become City’s long-term replacement for Kyle Walker if his development continues.
James McAtee
McAtee has begun to show shines of fulfilling his potential for Sheffield United. He’s played 9 times in the Premier League for the Blades adding an assist in those appearances. Stats don’t tell the full story as McAtee has shown he can play at the highest level. He is one to watch for City fans as the season progresses.
Taylor Harwood-Bellis
The young City defender has made 10 appearances for the Saints and scored a goal for Southampton. He has shown just how good a player he is for Southampton during his loan spell with the club. If his strong form continues it’s only a matter of time before he gets a chance in the Premier League.
Maximo Perrone
City’s young Argentinean midfielder has mainly been a bit player for Las Palmas. He’s made 10 appearances but the majority of those have come as a substitute. It has been a disappointing loan spell so far for Perrone as he adjusts to European football.
Liam Delap
Delap has been an important piece of the Hull side that currently sits 8th in the Championship. He’s made 17 appearances in all competitions contributing 5 goals and an assist. The youngster has played predominantly up front and out on the right wing at times for Hull.
Callum Doyle
Doyle is currently out injured with a knee injury. The young defender recently had surgery on the injury and isn’t expected to return for Leicester until after the New Year.
