This is the second part of how Manchester City’s loan players have fared so far this season. With a host of City players currently out on loan, here’s how the remaining players are faring following on from part 1 of how City’s loan players have fared this season.
Issa Kabore
The young full-back has adapted to life in the Premier League with Luton Town. He has played 9 times in all competitions for the newly promoted side. He’s started 6 games in the Premier League showing he’s a capable Premier League player.
Tommy Doyle
Doyle joined Wolves with an option to buy for the Midlands club on deadline day. He’s only made three appearances for Wolves since joining the club. His only start was in the Carabao Cup third-round tie loss to Ipswich Town.
Josh Wilson-Esbrand
The young left-back hasn’t started since August from Ligue One side Reims. He’s made 5 appearances all up with 3 starts for the club. It appears to be another season of learning about life as a first-team footballer for Esbrand.
Slobodan Tedic
The young attacker is currently on loan at Charlton Athletic. He’s scored one goal in 7 games for the club. He’s only made 2 starts for the club as he learns his craft.
Luke Mbete
The young defender has made 4 starts for Den Bosch in the second tier of Dutch football. His side has kept one clean sheet in the starts Mbete has made for the club.
Joao Cancelo
And finally, the last of the City loan players is Portuguese full-back Joao Cancelo. He has scored twice and contributed one assist in his 8 appearances for Barcelona. Cancelo is reportedly keen to stay at Barcelona once his loan spell is completed as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
