A busy day ahead with Manchester City stars on national duty

A busy day lies ahead with several Manchester City stars in action today. With the international break underway, several of City’s key players will be in action for their countries.

Manchester City’s midfield general Rodri will be in action for Spain. The Spanish will take on Scotland in Group A of the Euro 24 Qualifiers. Rodri will be looking to help Spain make up ground on Scotland who lead the table.

Norway are also in action from Group A up against Cyprus. Erling Haaland and Oscar Bobb have both been selected for Norway. Haaland will be looking to maintain his fine-scoring record for his country. Bobb will be hoping to make his international debut after being called up to the senior squad for the first time.

Mateo Kovacic and Josko Gvardiol are both a part of the Croatian squad. The Croatians face off against Turkiye in Group D of the Euro 24 qualifiers. Gvardiol and Kovacic will be looking to help Croatia seize control of one of the tightest groups in the Euro qualifying section.

In-form Manchester City star Julian Alvarez will be in action for Argentina. The Argentineans will face off against Paraguay as they look to continue their perfect start to their 2026 World Cup Qualifying campaign. The World Cup winner will be looking to put his strong club form on display for his country.

City shot-stopper Ederson could also be in action for Brazil. He most recently started for the Samba stars in their Conmebol World Cup qualifier win over Peru. The Brazilians won 1-nil The City keeper kept a clean sheet to help his country secure a vital three points.
