Kyle Walker has avoided any sanction from the FA for his touchline spat with an Arsenal assistant following City’s defeat at the Emirates. The Manchester City captain was involved in a furious row with Arsenal’s set piece coach Nicolas Jover as he headed down the tunnel following City’s loss.
Simon Stone of the BBC has reported that the FA will take no action against Walker for his actions.

Jack Gaughan of the Daily Mail reports that Manchester City felt disrespected by Jover following Manchester City’s wins over Arsenal last season. Jover reportedly refused to shake hands with the City players after both Premier League games. Nicolas Jover was a former City assistant before joining Arsenal alongside Mikel Arteta in 2019.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was asked about touchline row post-game. He refused to tell the media what was said. Instead, he played a straight bat to the question. He said: “I know what happened but I won’t say anything. They know it.”

It is welcome news for Manchester City that captain Kyle Walker will face no sanction for the touchline spat. City have been without the services of Rodri the past three games, and couldn’t afford a sanction for their captain.
