(Video) Ederson explains Manchester City’s winning mentality and more

Manchester City shot-stopper Ederson has sat down with SkySports to explain Manchester City’s winning mentality and more. He sat down with SkySports before City’s Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest to discuss a variety of topics.

City’s goalkeeper explained the mentality of the squad and Pep Guardiola’s demands. Ederson told SkySports: “What we have is Pep, who is pushing us a lot every day to say, ‘OK, we have won the Champions League, we have won five Premier Leagues, but how can we get better? How can we improve?’ He is always wanting more from us and, as a group, we are always working a lot and dedicating ourselves to improving and continuing the work we have already done. When teams win trophies and then fall off, it’s very, very difficult to get back up again. We are looking for that stability to stay at the top.”

The squad and Pep Guardiola’s mentality has been a key theme in City players and staff interviews this season. Pep and his players have provided a glimpse into the drive amongst the squad. That determination and drive have led the way as the treble winners look to sustain their era of success.

Ederson also explained his Cruyff turn in City’s Champions League win over Red Star Belgrade. It was yet another example of the technical ability the City goalkeeper has.
