According to Steven Mcinerney, Rodri is just insanely good as he reviews City’s 3-1 win over Red Star Belgrade. The defending European champions began their title defence with a comfortable win over the Serbian champions.

The Esteemed Kompany host analyses just how good Rodri is after another strong display from the Spanish midfielder. He put the game to bed with City’s third goal of the game.

Julian Alvarez again starred for the treble winners to continue his fine start to the season. Alvarez scored two and put in another sparkling display as he has firmly entrenched himself in Pep Guardiola’s starting lineup.

The only downside on the night was the injury suffered by Bernardo Silva. The midfielder limped off just before halftime and was replaced by Jeremy Doku. Pep Guardiola confirmed post-game that one of City’s key men will miss the champions next few games.
