Manchester City sell out every home game for the 23/24 season

Manchester City have sold out all of their remaining home games for the 23/24 Premier League season. On the back of last season’s treble-winning campaign, the demand for tickets to see the champions play has increased.

Simon Bajkowski of Manchester Evening News has reported the news of City selling out all of their remaining home games for the Premier League season. In addition to all of the games being sold out, he adds that home games against Manchester United, Arsenal and six other teams sold out within 24 hours of the tickets being on sale.

Manchester City changed the way tickets were sold for home games this season. After discussions with Supporters Groups City made all home games tickets available at once. This was done to alleviate pressure on fans trying to buy tickets when each game went on sale.

The demand for tickets to City’s home Premier League games coincides with the club’s recent dominance of English football. After winning 5 of the past 6 league titles, the treble winners have become one of the must-see attractions in the English game. Also, the popularity of Manchester City overseas has seen more international fans seeking to see the European champions live. With increased demand to see Pep Guardiola’s side, all home tickets selling out so early in the season isn’t a surprise.

Another factor in the demand for tickets is the Erling Haaland factor. Haaland has brought in another section of fans who want to see him continue his goal-scoring feats.

All of these factors combined make Manchester City arguably the hottest ticket in English football.
