The midfielder has picked up this season where he left off the last – scoring crucial match winning goals.
After the monumental Champions League Final winning goal, he does not look like slowing down. He added an 88th match winner at Bramall Lane as the Blues took all three points from Sheffield United.
Despite a high volume of games played, he looks as sharp as ever. He is as important as ever.
Rodri has contributed enormously to City’s 100% win record during the early stages of the 23/24 campaign. While also picking up the first trophy of the season during a dramatic penalty shootout for the UEFA Super Cup.
Rodri ranks 1st in most areas amongst midfielders in the Premier League thus far. Completing the most passes with 428, with the highest pass accuracy at 94.5%.
Moreover, he has put himself on the scoresheet twice already.
Manchester City fans understand the importance of Rodri to this Pep Guardiola super-team. While he might be underrated outside of the Etihad, Blues could not appreciate the Spanish midfielder more.
