There will be an opportunity to submit List B the night before each Champions League fixture.
List A should not name more than a maximum of 25 players – which will not be difficult for City’s small squad.
Manchester City will go into the this season’s Champions League as thee Champions of Europe for the first time.
There are no surprises with the list, as there are unlikely to be surprises that the Blues will want to add their second Champions League title.
Their 23/24 UCL campaign will begin this month. The first game will be 19th September as the current champions host Red Star Belgrade at the Etihad.
The Blues will be in Group G along with Red Star Belgrade, familiar faces RB Leipzig and Young Boys.
Manchester City have a long history with this competition, and the Etihad became a fortress that unnerved some of the biggest sides in Europe.
Long may it continue.
