Manchester City host Fulham on Saturday and Lillo provided some welcomed fitness news earlier.
During his pre-match press conference reported by ManCity.com, Pep’s right-hand man confirmed that Akanji has returned to training.
Lillo also states that he was lacking match fitness and left out of last weekends squad through precaution.
JUANMA 💬 (Fitness update) Phil [Foden] has completely recovered from illness, Manu [Akanji]’s problem was for prevention not serious, he’s more or less there. John [Stones] is more or less there as well. pic.twitter.com/XnljS1q8cr

He goes on to say that John Stones is also “more or less there”. The England centre-back has missed out on an International call up this time around following an ongoing injury.
Meanwhile, Phil Foden has been confirmed fully fit ahead of Saturdays fixture.
There may also be some exciting debuts this weekend against Fulham. Jeremy Doku was on the bench at Bramall Lane last weekend, however did not feature. He could make his debut in front of the home crowd.
Moreover, Manchester City confirmed the signing of Matheus Nunes earlier today and he could also make his home debut. Although, this would likely be from the bench.
We all now await the return of the main man, Pep Guardiola.
