Portuguese midfielder Matheus Nunes will today complete the first part of his medical with Manchester City it has been reported. It’s also reported that the deal between City and Wolves was agreed late last night to seal the move for the midfielder.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Nunes is in Manchester to begin the first stages of his medical with the club. In addition to being in Manchester for his medical, Romano adds that the clubs have exchanged documents to complete the deal after a verbal agreement was reached yesterday.

David Ornstein of the Athletic also reports that the deal for Nunes is €62 million with no add-ons. He adds that 10% of any sale of the midfielder will go to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the future. Furthermore, he adds that Wolves have permitted Matheus Nunes to travel to Manchester.

With the deal at the final stages of completion, Nunes will become City’s fourth signing for the summer. Mateo Kovacic, Josko Gvardiol and Jeremy Doku have all arrived at the Etihad thus far. It remains to be seen if the European champions will dip into the market after completing the Matheus Nunes deal.
