Firstly reports surfaced of City appearing confident in clinching a deal for Matheus Nunes. Fabrizio Romano broke the news of City returning with a fresh bid for the midfielder. David Ornstein followed that with a report that Nunes is refusing to train with Wolves.
Fabrizio Romano reported that City and Barcelona have agreed a loan deal for Joao Cancelo. He also reports that the Portuguese fullback was due to travel to Barcelona overnight to complete the deal.
