Manchester City have seen a number of academy talents head out this summer. And it now looks as though Luke Mbete will be the next to exit.
According to Mark Critchley and David Ornstein of The Athletic, Mbete will join FC Den Bosch on a season-long loan.

The 19-year-old finished the season with a spell on loan at Bolton Wanderers following a stint at Huddersfield Town.
This time however, he will venture into the Dutch league for the 23/24 campaign.
It is incredibly challenging for City Academy graduates to breakthrough into the first team, with only Foden doing so fully thus far.
Rico Lewis looks set to follow Foden’s footsteps after an incredible contribution during the Treble winning season.

Nevertheless, question marks hang over the heads of two huge talents, Palmer and McAtee.
Therefore, a loan move for Luke Mbete this season makes sense for his development. Although history suggests that once a loan is agreed, a return to the City first team any time soon is unlikely.
