Dom Smith and Nizaar Kinsella report for the Standard that Palace is set to ask for a huge fee for Eze. They report that the Eagles will ask for no lower than £70 million for the England international. Furthermore, Smith and Kinsella add that Palace would expect a sizable transfer fee for Eze. Especially after losing star winger Wilfred Zaha on a free transfer to Galatasaray.
With Crystal Palace setting their price for their star midfielder, it will be a case of watching this space regarding a potential City bid. It’s no secret that Manchester City are in the market for more depth in their midfield. This is especially the case after the long-term injury suffered by Kevin De Bruyne.
Manchester City have been heavily linked with Matheus Nunes, and now Eberechi Eze. If the treble winners want one or both in their squad isn’t clear at this stage of the window.
