Manchester City have two wins out of two in the opening of Premier League season 23/24. Despite a depleted squad, the Blues have put in professional performances without stepping out of second gear.
With a Super Cup win in addition, Pep and his men come back from the Treble season with more desire.
Following the Super Cup victory, with key figures unfit and a super young bench, some did not believe we could do the job versus Newcastle. The bench on Saturday only highlighted the lack of squad depth for the Blues.
However, with masterclasses from Rodri, Kovacic and Foden, the job was done back at the Etihad.
