An attack that came down City’s right side saw Ake pulled out of position while Akanji could be found in no-mans land.
Poor communication between the centre-backs left the Manchester City’s defence vulnerable. Ederson was caught off-guard in the move and did not react.
Positive play by Sevilla, an experienced performance. Despite a lack of possession they were able to take their chance against the run of play.
