That makes a whopping 15 trophies under Pep Guardiola, who is the only manager to win the cup with three different clubs.
This is the first ever UEFA Super Cup that Manchester City have won. While it might seem minor in comparison to the Champions League itself, it is another accolade for the club.
Kyle Walker as captain both scored the winning goal in the penalty shootout and lifted his first trophy as skipper.
