While it looked as though City would not be able to work through the Sevilla defence, Palmer stepped up.
Two goals. Two brilliant headers on display.
Palmer had looked quiet in the first half and perhaps lacking in confidence.
However, as Rodri’s cross came flying into the Sevilla box he did not hesitate to shout for Haaland to leave the ball.
He converted it well.
Manchester City 1 – 1 Sevilla. Game on!
