The Premier League has returned and it did not disappoint. There was a whole four days packed with football action to review.
New players made their debuts with some getting off to a flying start. Heart-breaking injuries picked up. And new managers both new and old, some of whom received their first yellow cards under the new refereeing standards.

And we had plenty of goals scored and conceded in the opening weekend of the 23/24 season.
