He starts off by reminding the world that “Manchester City won the treble”. Music to every City’s fans ears, and we won’t ever get tired of hearing it.
Steven also raises the much debated question of “is the Community Shield a big game”.
While the Blues are there because they won both the Premier League and FA Cup, the Gunner are participating by default.
One could argue that this game is bigger for Arsenal than it is for Man City.
The Blues lost the Community Shield to Liverpool last season. However, City went on to have their most successful season. Whereas Liverpool dropped out of the top four.
