Nathan Ake set to stay at Manchester City until 2027

Nathan Ake is set to sign a new long-term deal keeping him at Manchester City until 2027.

Reports overnight suggest the Dutch international has agreed a new deal with the champions. Sam Lee of The Athletic reports that the new deal will tie Ake to the club until the end of the 2027 season.

Fabrizio Romano also has reported the news of a fresh contract for the defender. He adds that the new deal will be announced imminently.

Jack Gaughan of the Daily Mail also reported the news that the extension for Ake should be signed over the weekend.
