It’s also reported by Bailey that the treble winners have deemed Bernardo too valuable to lose. They feel he is too hard to replace, especially following the departure of Ilkay Gundogan and the impending move of Riyad Mahrez to Al-Ahli.
A fresh contract is also on offer to City’s star man Bailey adds. The new deal, if accepted by Bernado will reportedly make him one of the clubs’ top earners.
The report states that Manchester City have decided Bernardo’s future, and it looks set to end the ongoing saga. The midfielder has attempted to move on from the Etihad for the past two seasons, it now appears that a resolution is on the horizon.
If the City star does stay at the club and sign a new contract if will be fantastic news for Pep Guardiola’s side and Manchester City fans everywhere on the eve of a new season.
