Pep Guardiola was joined by Ruben Dias on media duties earlier today.
They spoke ahead of Manchester City’s pre-season friendly against Bayern Munich in Japan. The Blues knocked Bayern out of the Champions League quarter-final only months ago, before going on to win the competition. Eventually being crowed European Champions.
Guardiola briefed the media on Kyle Walker and his backroom staff. While Dias also spoke of the transfer rumours surrounding Walker and international teammate, Bernardo Silva.
“I don’t know what happened with my assistant managers. I take care of them incredibly well, and all the time they drop me.
“If you want to come to the bench, I have a space now.”
Dias talks about the teams hunger for success:
“Even though this Man City team has won a lot in the past few seasons, we are still hungry and we are still here to win again and again. Actions speak louder than words.”
